My vision for DPNimages.com is to provide a place for artists to present their work and ideas on the web. During the past several years it became apparent to me that artists working in the abstract expressionist idiom were finding it harder and harder to locate their work in galleries. The visual art field today is enormous and making that first contact can be a considerable task absorbing enormous amounts of energy and money from the artist.

    This site will not function as an online gallery. There are far too many other sites that can provide this service to artists better than DPNimages. This site will function as a resource or parking arena on the web for an artist's images and ideas. It will function as a resume for galleries, museums, collectors as well as other artists and students to link to the artists, their images and ideas presented here.

    What started out as a self service promotional device for my work and ideas, now extends to other artists for the same reason.

    For the time being, I want to keep the focus of this site on abstract expressionist images and ideas. Artists may contact DPNimages by using email reference below for details on how to participate or ask questions. An invitation is also extended to colleges/universities, collectors and galleries to contact DPNimages regarding any projects you may have to offer covering this subject.
