Grandma T. was always too cold there-

We would go out "coal picken":
After the big pile was plucked
Grandma and I with sticks
would pig'em out of the ground.
Even then I was aware of
the powerful aweing primal act going on-
An old hunched woman and a child-
"Rooting" the ground
